MeterSmart Introduces SummerPeak( Program for Utilities Research Delivers Low-Cost Benchmarking and Forecasting Data in Real Time )
ARLINGTON, Texas - February 25, 2004 - MeterSmart, L.P., the foremost experts in energy data management for utilities, today introduced SummerPeak, the utility industry's first six-month load research package that provides real-time data to utilities during one of the most energy-intensive periods of the year. With SummerPeak, utilities can more accurately benchmark and forecast their power supply needs.
Most states have energy "demand response" initiatives that are designed to help prevent blackouts like the one in the northeastern United States and Canada on August 14, 2003. SummerPeak research helps fulfill those requirements by giving utilities reliable data about how, when and where their customers are using power.

The SummerPeak package, priced at $1,098 per submeter, includes a fully installed submeter that supports two energy load research data points, as well as six months of data collection, analysis and real-time Web presentation with interim and final progress summary reports. The submeter

MeterSmart, L.P. and RLW Analytics Launch Innovative New Load Research Service Bureau to Provide "One-Stop Shop" for Client Utilities
ARLINGTON, TX-March 21, 2003-MeterSmart, L.P. and RLW Analytics, Inc. recently joined forces to launch an innovative new service for electric and gas utilities, the Load Research Service Bureau. MeterSmart, a subsidiary of Hunt Power, L.P., is a leading provider of data collection, processing and web-enabled data applications. RLW Analytics is a prominent load-research consulting firm. The LRSB offers utility customers a full suite of load research solutions, including "turnkey"
installations and a cafeteria-style menu of services that allows clients to tailor solutions to best meet their current and expanding load research needs. The LRSB currently offers the following program options:
Sample Design and Selection: Innovative sample designs are targeted at meeting planned objectives while minimizing costs and providing the flexibility to meet future customer demands of the data.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Comprehensive analysis and reporting by class, rate or user-selected domains includes on-demand analysis using any of several expansion algorithms, such as mean-per-unit, ratio estimation and multivariate analysis. Both standard and customized reports are available in a convenient format and delivered to the client in a timely fashion.
Data and Report Delivery: Individual customer data, analyzed data and reports are delivered to the client through a secure web site. Exploratory analysis and customized reporting are immediately available to the client, who may download the selected files using the LRSB's data visualization and reporting software, Visualize-IT(tm), from RLW Analytics.
