Enetics, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures and markets products which measure, characterize, and manage the energy used by residential and commercial consumers. Utilities, ESCOs, and Energy Contractors are the principal distribution channels.

As a product-driven organization, Enetics, Inc. conducts on-going research into key algorithms and technologies useful in interpreting energy and consumption characteristics of both individual and whole-building loads from a single point.

SPEED^TM – Is Enetics’ Non-Intrusive Appliance Load Monitoring System (NIALMS), which provides residential end-use energy consumption monitoring solely through installation of equipment at the home’s service entrance. The system consists of the recorder at the residence and software which resides at a central location for collection, processing, and reporting the data. Data is collected from the residence on a regular basis (typically once per week) through sharing the residential phone line (calls are initiated at the residence). Once collected, the data is processed and made accessible using standard database access methods. Data may be exported in a variety of formats including MV-90. Eight to twelve major loads are typically tracked. The recorder installs in a matter of minutes, and may be easily removed for re-deployment.

BEMMS – Enetics’ Building Energy Monitoring and Management System combines comprehensive 3-phase power consumption and power quality monitoring with programmable outputs for load control and operator alerting. This product was designed as a cost effective solution to obtain a full range of power monitoring capabilities. BEMMS records power quality sampling on every cycle therefore nothing is missed. BEMMS comes in three versions beginning with a “monitoring only” version which collects the following data:

• Real Power (kW, kWh)
• Reactive power (kVAR)
• Apparent Power
• Power Factor (total, displacement, distortion)
• AC Voltage (3-phase, neutral & ground)
• AC Current (3-phase, neutral or ground)
• Total Harmonic Distortion (voltage & current)
• Harmonics 2nd –15th (voltage & current)
• Sag/ Swell Event capturing (3,000 events, 1 cycle resolution)

The more advance versions include load control, paging, and transient and waveform capture.

All BEMMS products provide; real-time monitoring, Remote data access, 2-tier password controlled access and a built in modem.
